The Adventures of Terrik Zion

I’m noticing that a lot of my commentary looking back on these pages has to do with the color, and that’s probably because I’ve really been focused on learning how to color better recently. I tried taking a risk on this page, painting the foreground characters in cool light even though they’re surrounded by warm morning light. I’m not 100% sure I got the hues where they should have been, but I’m glad I took the chance to break out of “normal local color” and tried something else, it’s made me want to do a lot more of that.
