The Adventures of Terrik Zion

I had a lot of fun drawing that curved corridor, but even more fun painting it. Looking back, the value scale might be a little too compressed, but I wanted them to be in a dimly-lit powered-down ship that feels a little bit like the Enterprise Refit in TMP (only, Terrik’s ship here isn’t new or refit in any way). One thing I might have changed is to make those boxes smaller and more plentiful; Terrik isn’t supposed to be super strong, the idea was supposed to be that those boxes are lightweight spaaaace medicine containers. I’m not sure if that comes across, but ultimately it’s not that important. Learning about visual narrative, woohoo!
