Whereupon Terrik learns he has the legal right to claim a vessel for his own, but at the terrible cost of the lives of its previous owners. It’ll keep him and his crew flying, but where can they run when the Tiras Star Cluster slowly succumbs to the Omegan invasion fleet…?
I really like panel 3 on this page and I refer to it often when drawing issue 3 bridge scenes, I think I got the cool blue tone just about right, and I’m really happy with the warm light behind Terrik from the stairwell as both contrast for imagery but also as a subtle storytelling device, linking him to the other parts of the ship as he moves about. In issue 3 news, I just finished painting page 16 yesterday so today it’s on to page 17 pencils!
