The Adventures of Terrik Zion

I really like this page! I think it’s the first time I’ve used the multiple-scenes-in-one-panel type thing. I worried that it would make their travel feel slow, because the eye has to wander from Ardent Nomad to Ardent Nomad, and I wanted to put a motion blur on each of them but I also felt like that would just muddy the scene since there’s so much going on already. I’m really happy with the Omegan Raider here, both its looming bulk and the coloring, I really think I nailed the look I’ve been envisioning since I came up with the design four or five years ago. Enough about the page, what have I been up to recently? Well, building Tiffany Coris blaster replicas out of wood (in addition to Terrik’s blaster replica)! You can see a little bit of that progress over HERE! I also worked on some drawings of the TATZ girls today instead of working on the next page, because I felt like it. I’m pretty happy with them so I’ll post em to DeviantArt when they’re done. I really do need to get back to working on Issue 5 though. Anyway that’s all I’ve got for now so see ya next week!
