The Adventures of Terrik Zion

Hey everyone, I had another great week! I finished coloring the TATZ issue 5 cover, finished lettering the entire issue, and even got all the extra content ready including the inside front cover, back cover and bonus art! I also made a couple color edits to issue 2 and looked through issues 2-5 to make sure everything is ready for print. I’ve decided to do a short (and I mean SHORT – maybe 20 or 25 copies of each issue) print run to have for sale at Free Comic Book Day over at SoCal Comics on August 14. I still have First Edition copies of issue 1 on hand, so I’ll be selling individual books for $5 and the whole set of issues 1-5 for the discount rate of $20. I’m looking forward to that, but in the meantime, I’ve been working on building a Toryn Skall blaster rifle replica out of wood. A few days of work in Illustrator and now I’ve printed off my first set of templates and I’ve cut out the initial pieces. I’ve got to get a tarp to set up in my workshop to keep dust out of the laundry area so I’ll do that first thing tomorrow but then I should be busy all day working on the build. Great fun!
