The Adventures of Terrik Zion

My headache seemed to resolve itself a little bit after I posted last week but now it’s back again. And this time I didn’t even do any pencils, I was doing all digital work this week. Oh well. It is what it is I guess. I just finished flatting TATZ 6 page 7, which means I only got a couple pages inked and flatted since last week, but I’ll try to pick up the pace soon. I have to get back to pencilling pages soon but I really hope I can figure something out so I don’t keep aggravating my neck. I’ve made it all the way through my TNG blu rays and I’m now on All Good Things… gonna finish watching that in a little bit but then I’m going to take a short interlude before I rewatch Cowboy Bebop to watch the Alien Quadrilogy again! HR Giger’s work was quite influential on me, not in a style sense (because clearly I cannot draw like he did, and I actually prefer the ‘comic look’ in my art) BUT he influenced my taste for what horror and otherworldly should look like. Does that even make sense? I enjoy that style but it’s not the one I want to create myself. Well anyway, the Omegan’s design owes some of their look to his work, although they also draw from a couple other elements. Pitch Black Bioraptors, hammerhead shark, Xenomorph, Starship Trooper Arachnid, Zerg, and even a touch of the Mouth of Sauron is all part of their design lineage. Well, I’m rambling now so I’ll wrap it up and see y’all next week.
